Job summary

The Boeing Company in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Aeronautical Engineer or Senior Technical Officer (Structures) to support the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler program. The role focuses on sustaining aircraft structures and ensuring safety, integrity and performance across the lifecycle.

Based at RAAF Base Amberley, Qld, Australia, you’ll join a values-driven, multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should hold relevant tertiary engineering qualifications and bring extensive aircraft

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aircraft structural engineering, with expertise in modification and sustainment.
• Knowledge of structural analysis techniques, repair development and certification processes.
• Experience in DASR or CASA/EASA/EMAR environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering activities for the F/A-18F/Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler maintenance program.
• Develop, validate, and review structural designs, load assessments and repair solutions.
• Perform structural studies (static strength, durability/fatigue) to determine integrity.
• Work towards Engineering Authority and Delegations.
• Uphold Boeing safety culture and values.
