SACOSS, the peak body for South Australia’s social services sector, seeks a senior leader to head advocacy and policy. You will shape organisational strategy, lead a skilled policy team and drive systemic change through evidence-based analysis and high‑level stakeholder engagement.

You will engage Ministers, MPs and sector leaders, guiding priority setting, briefings and submissions to advance social justice and reduce disadvantage in South Australia.

Formación

• Experience leading, developing and supporting staff and teams.
• Strong advocacy, policy and government relations experience.
• Excellent ability to build relationships across stakeholders and sectors.
• Sound political judgement and ability to influence public debate.

Responsabilidades

• Lead SACOSS's advocacy agenda and policy function.
• Oversee the policy team with work planning, priorities and performance.
• Develop strategic advocacy strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Represent SACOSS in senior forums, coalitions and briefings.
