Job summary

UnitingCare Health is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead advisory and delivery services across hospitals, aged care and community settings. You will drive high-priority transformation engagements, partner with senior leaders, and shepherd initiatives from scoping through implementation and handover.

As a senior, hands-on leader, you will balance strategy with practical delivery, shape responses to complex challenges and mentor a team of senior consultants and consultants.

Qualifications

• Extensive management consulting experience, ideally at senior level within a consulting firm or mature internal advisory function.
• Proven success leading complex consulting, transformation and project delivery engagements from scoping to handover.
• Strong understanding of health, aged care or broader human services sectors, including clinical, regulatory and commercial drivers.
• Strong project leadership with ability to bring structure and momentum to changing environments.
• Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills to partner with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of complex advisory engagements and critical projects from scoping to handover, benefits realisation and implementation.
• Partner with hospital and corporate leaders to understand priorities and deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.
• Mobilise and lead multidisciplinary teams, providing direction and delivery discipline to maintain momentum.
• Translate insights into executive briefings, board papers and implementation roadmaps.
