Job summary

GHD Business Advisory in Sydney is seeking a Senior Advisor - Assurance to join the Risk & Assurance team. You will provide strategic, technical and operational assurance to clients navigating major capital investments, helping guidance from strategy through delivery.

You will work with industry leaders on infrastructure and energy projects, build client relationships, manage assignments, and contribute to developing plans for the service line.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or similar discipline.
• 7+ years industry experience in a recognised consulting, corporate or regulatory environment.
• Experience working in/on audit, governance or compliance frameworks and application to major projects.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assessment of governance frameworks and strategies
• Evaluating client’s business control processes
• Supporting non-financial audits of client systems, processes and projects
• Supporting assessment of client compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Undertaking technical analysis in support of senior staff
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure cost effective solutions to address identified risk and issues are negotiated and implemented in a timely manner.
• Contributing to the development of the strategic and operational plans for the Risk & Assurance Service line
• Manage the planning and delivery of assignments
• Developing internal and external networks to grow the Risk & Assurance service Internal reporting, including client, sales pipeline and revenue reports
