Job summary

Ashfords Accountants & Advisory in Dandenong VIC is seeking an Accounting and Tax Supervisor to guide financial delivery and support a high-performing team. You will manage WIP, billing, and debtors, while delivering compliant accounts, BAS, budget and cashflow forecasts for client entities.

The role values ownership, attention to detail and strong communication, with a focus on client service and professional development within a dynamic, growth-oriented firm.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified.
• Ability to manage own practice by accurately recording WIP, billing to target and keeping debtors under control.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite; XERO experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares accounts, annual returns, BAS, FBT, budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Attends to the requirements of companies and trusts.
• Monitors client management reports for underlying business improvement issues.
• Prepares business benchmarking reports for clients.
• Evaluates clients’ accounting systems.
• Effective delegation and review of client work where appropriate.
• Cross selling of the firm’s products and identify client needs.
• Maintains awareness of clients debtors in consultation with Accounts Receivable.
