Job summary

William Buck is seeking an experienced advisor to lead a portfolio of technology-focused clients, delivering financial, operational and strategic guidance as a trusted VCFO partner. You will oversee management reports, statutory accounts, budgeting and cash flow planning to support client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of technology-focused clients, acting as a trusted adviser on financial, operational and strategic matters.
• Oversee the preparation and review of management reports, statutory accounts and compliance obligations, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.
• Perform Virtual CFO (VCFO) services including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, KPI reporting and strategic business planning.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and provide strategic insights.
• Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance, reviewing work and supporting ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate closely with advisory, tax and specialist teams to deliver tailored, integrated client solutions.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with Australian accounting standards, legislative requirements, professional standards and internal quality controls.
