Integrated Human Resourcing is seeking a Senior Accountant - Public Practice (Advisory) in central Gold Coast. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services while building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification completed or in progress.
• 5+ years of Australian public practice accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a diverse client portfolio across taxation, compliance, advisory and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and BAS for various structures.
• Provide proactive commercial and taxation advice to support client growth.
• Mentor junior team members and drive capability across the team.
• Collaborate with Directors on complex financial matters and process improvements.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives, and improve workflows and technology integration.
• Build trusted client relationships and represent the firm at events.

The Role

You will take ownership of adiverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality compliance and advisoryservices while building strong long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of business clients acrosstaxation, compliance, advisory and financial reporting engagements
  
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements,tax returns and BAS for a range of entity structures
  
• Providing proactive commercial, financial andtaxation advice to support client growth and business outcomes
  
• Managing and mentoring junior team memberswhile helping develop capability across the broader team
  
• Working closely with the Directors on complexfinancial reporting and taxation matters
  
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems,workflows and operational efficiencies
  
• Leading and contributing to automation and AIinitiatives across the firm
  
• Driving efficiencies through technologyintegration, data automation and process improvement
  
• Building trusted client relationships andacting as a key point of contact
  
• Representing the firm at networking events,industry functions and business forums
  
• Contributing to the firm's organic growththrough referrals, relationship building and exceptional client service
  
• Acting as an ambassador for the business andhelping strengthen its presence within the local business community
  

About You

You are an experienced publicpractice accountant who enjoys taking ownership, building trusted relationshipsand operating with a high degree of autonomy.

You will bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or be working towardscompletion
  
• 5+ years' experience within Australian publicpractice accounting
  
• Strong technical expertise across Australiantaxation, compliance and financial reporting
  
• Confidence and maturity when communicating withclients, stakeholders and business owners
  
• The ability to work autonomously and manageyour own client portfolio
  
• Genuine interest in technology, automation andthe future of the accounting profession
  
• Strong commercial awareness and relationshipmanagement skills
  
• Comfort representing the firm at businessnetworking and industry events
