Job summary

K&S Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Shared Services Finance team in Victoria. This hands-on role covers general ledger, month-end close, fixed assets, taxation and compliance for Australia and New Zealand operations.

You will drive process improvements and partner with auditors and advisers to ensure robust financial reporting. The position supports travel to Mount Gambier as required, and offers a pathway to build a strong finance function within a growing, ASX-listed

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant financial accounting experience, ideally in Big 4/Mid-Tier or complex commercial environment.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress; accounting/finance degree.
• Strong general ledger and month-end accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of Australian and New Zealand tax (GST, BAS, FBT).
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to resolve variances and improve processes.
• Hands-on approach with interest in systems improvement.
• Excellent communication to liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including complex GL journals and reconciliations.
• Manage Fixed Asset Registers, depreciation and PPE reporting across key business streams.
• Prepare and coordinate BAS, GST and FBT requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
• Support income tax, Fuel Tax Credit and other tax compliance activities.
• Partner with auditors, tax advisors and government bodies on accounting and tax matters.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and strengthen controls.
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance to the broader Finance team.
