Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Committed to accuracy and compliance in financial work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Review financial statements and management accounts for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and help resolve accounting issues.
• Assist with tax planning activities for clients.
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
• Complete required regulatory forms accurately and on time.
• Meet lodgment deadlines in line with lodgment program requirements.
• Apply knowledge of client, firm and industry trends and current issues.
• Prepare clear, well-structured work papers evidencing work performed.
• Support clients to stay financially healthy and compliant.
