Job summary

Findex is seeking a Senior Accountant in Bathurst to join the Business Advisory Services Team. You will deliver high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base, attend partner meetings, and prepare tax returns, financial statements and reconciliations.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification or progress toward it, strong Excel skills, and experience with Xero or MYOB. Enjoy flexible schedules and strong career development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering accounting services across diverse client base.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• CA or CPA qualification, or working towards it (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality accounting services across diverse clients.
• Attend meetings with managers and partners to review work.
• Assist in preparing business advice, tax returns, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Complete jobs efficiently while meeting standards, deadlines and budgets.
• Assist with bookkeeping and client correspondence.
• Liaise with ATO and other government bodies as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance.
