At OpenCorp our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the business and enabling informed decision making. We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join us in a newly created permanent role based in our Richmond office.

This is a hands on opportunity to work closely with our General Manager of Finance and take ownership of the day to day operational finance function. You will be trusted influential and genuinely valued for the impact you make. If you enjoy being close to the detail while also improving how things are done this role will feel rewarding.

The role

As our Senior Accountant you will be a key driver of OpenCorps core finance and bookkeeping operations. You will also oversee and coordinate the Bookkeeping Team ensuring accuracy consistency and continuous improvement across the function.

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Managing month end processes
  • Sales invoicing including cash flow and accrued revenue
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Compliance requirements including BAS and PAYG
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and Salesforce

Beyond the numbers you will act as a key link between the Finance team and the wider business working collaboratively across departments and proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.

About you

  • Experience with Xero and Salesforce which is helpful but not essential
