Job summary

Barker Trailers in Victoria is seeking a motivated Semi-Trailer Assembler to join our Final Assembly team. This hands-on role covers mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly to tight timelines.

You will read technical drawings, perform general assembly tasks, and maintain safe, clean work areas. The role is full-time (38 hours/week) with a 9-day fortnight and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
• Good communication skills and basic numeracy.

• Perform general assembly of mechanical and hydraulic components
• Carry out electrical assembly tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Complete assembly work in line with manufacturer standards and timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and basic numeracy are essential
