The Role

We are seeking experienced Retail Security Officers who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. This position is to commence ASAP and is based at Forster Shopping Centre.

You will be responsible for providing security service at Forster Shopping Centre, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro‑active security awareness.

Role Requirements

• Current NSW Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
• Apply First Aid Certificate
• Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
• Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
• The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
• The ability to complete reports using various platforms
• Excellent presentation, well‑groomed and corporate‑appropriate
• High‑level problem‑solving skills
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• Valid work rights in Australia
• Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
• Availability across 7 days / nights
