Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Security Systems Engineer for Sydney to deliver end-to-end security system designs and deployments across complex infrastructure projects.

The role involves configuring Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems, maintaining design documentation, and supporting procurement and site integration activities through commissioning and early operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in security systems engineering within complex infrastructure or rail environments.
• Strong knowledge of Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV design, deployment and testing.
• Ability to support system integration, interface coordination and site implementation.
• Experience producing technical documentation and supporting procurement and delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery support of security systems from design to handover.
• Translate system inputs into security designs and implementation arrangements.
• Configure and deploy Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV equipment.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design inputs.
• Support procurement activities and technical evaluations for security systems.
• Coordinate with project interfaces and Hitachi Rail business applications during deployment and testing.
