Job summary

PMT Security Systems offers a four-year apprenticeship in Seven Hills, NSW, teaching installation, recommissioning and upgrading CCTV, alarms and access control for major retailers and government sites. You will train locally, supported by mentoring and a clear path to the UEE31420 Certificate III in Security Equipment.

The role is full-time for four years with paid annual and personal leave, and access to 1:1 mentoring from experienced tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain a security licence (essential).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current Driver's Licence with P plates minimum.
• White Card and ability to pass Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check.
• Certificate II in Electrotechnology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Recommission, upgrade and service security equipment.
• Work across local sites with PMT Security Systems clients.
• Complete four-year apprenticeship and earn UEE31420 Certificate III.
• Join a team of experienced tradespeople; access to mentoring.

Our client PMT Security Systems is an Australia owned nationwide company that provides a complete spectrum of customised and developed security solutions. They have developed and grown since 1979 into one of the largest companies within the Retail, Commercial and Government industries.

You will learn how to install,recommission, and upgrade CCTV, alarm and access control systems for major retailers, department stores, rail, prisons, and government departments. The work is generally in the local area and will involve going to various sites.

Undertaking thisfour-year apprenticeshipwill give you the opportunity to become a qualifiedSecurity Installation Technician and earn your UEE31420 Certificate III in Security Equipment.

This role is located in Seven Hills, NSW.
