Job summary

Pride Global in Sydney seeks a hands-on Security Platform Engineer to operate and scale telemetry platforms, with strong expertise in Google SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) and BindPlane.

You will manage platform health, ingestion pipelines and data routing across cloud tools, while collaborating with Cloud, DevOps and Security teams. Proficiency in Python and Terraform, plus CI/CD automation, is required to support SOC and incident response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google SecOps SIEM/SOAR.
• Experience with BindPlane or similar telemetry ingestion platforms.
• Understanding of logs, schemas, parsing, enrichment & data routing.
• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure environments.
• Proficiency in Python & Terraform.
• CI/CD & automated deployment experience.
• Strong security operations / incident support experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer and maintain Google SecOps environments.
• Platform health, performance, availability & capacity.
• Troubleshoot integrations, access and ingestion issues.
• Support detection enablement and security operations.
• Manage BindPlane collectors, agents & ingestion pipelines.
• Ingest logs/telemetry from cloud, infrastructure, applications & security tools.
• Build and maintain parsing, normalization, enrichment & routing pipelines.
• Route telemetry into Google SecOps, Big Query & downstream platforms.
• Monitor pipeline health, throughput, latency and data quality.
• Support CI/CD-based platform and pipeline deployments.
• Read/modify Python & Terraform for fixes and enhancements.
• Automate platform management, validation and deployment processes.
• Support SOC and Incident Response teams during investigations.
• Troubleshoot telemetry and platform issues.
• Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure & Security Engineering teams.
