C4i Solutions Pty is seeking an experienced Security Operations Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in Sydney, onsite. You will design, implement and optimise security technologies across customer environments, collaborating with SOC analysts and infrastructure teams.

The role focuses on detection, prevention, response, and automation to strengthen security postures. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cyber security engineering or related fields, with hands-on experience in Microsoft

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security engineering or related
• Experience with enterprise security technologies and deployments
• Clear ability to automate and engineer security workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain security technologies (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, firewalls)
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and automated response workflows
• Engineer integrations to improve visibility and incident response
• Support investigation and resolution of complex security incidents
• Maintain security hardening, logging, monitoring, and audit controls across environments
• Develop automation scripts and orchestration workflows
• Perform platform upgrades, patching and lifecycle maintenance
• Assess threats and recommend security posture improvements
• Produce technical docs, artefacts and engineering standards
• Collaborate with customers to implement security capabilities in line with requirements
