Job summary

Charterhouse partners with a highly recognised household-name organisation to appoint a Security Architect for an initial 12-month contract. The role focuses on designing and embedding secure technology across a large enterprise, collaborating with senior technology and business stakeholders to provide security architecture guidance from design through to implementation.

You will assess solutions, manage security risks, develop security requirements and promote secure practices across cloud,

Qualifications

• Background in security architecture or security consulting.
• Experience designing and assessing security controls within complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to cloud security, infrastructure and/or application security.
• Experience working with security frameworks, standards and risk requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture advice across major technology projects and initiatives
• Develop and review security designs, patterns, standards and requirements
• Assess technology solutions and identify potential security risks and control gaps
• Work closely with technology, engineering and business stakeholders to embed security into projects
• Support risk assessments, remediation activities, audits and assurance processes
• Provide guidance across areas including cloud, infrastructure, applications and emerging technologies
• Contribute to the development and continual improvement of security standards, policies and frameworks
• Engage with vendors and technology partners to assess security capabilities and requirements
• Represent security across project and governance forums
