Security Architect (Citrix ZTNA)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect with strong expertise in Citrix technologies, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and secure workforce enablement solutions.

This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimising secure access architectures that support modern hybrid workforces. You will work closely with security, infrastructure, networking, and identity teams to deliver scalable and secure user access solutions while enhancing overall organisational security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Citrix Secure Private Access (SPA) and ZTNA architectures.
• Implement secure access solutions to support hybrid workforce environments.
• Deploy and configure Citrix Secure Private Access solutions.
• Define and implement contextual access and adaptive authentication policies.
• Configure secure access for SaaS, web, and TCP/UDP applications.
• Implement Citrix Enterprise Browser and Google Chrome Enterprise security controls.
• Design browser isolation and secure browsing capabilities.
• Integrate identity platforms and authentication services into secure access environments.
• Optimise traffic routing through Citrix Cloud Connector and Gateway services.
• Support migration from traditional VPN technologies to modern ZTNA solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to deliver secure architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex access, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture designs, and implementation standards.

What You'll Need

• Strong experience designing and implementing Citrix Secure Private Access environments.
• Deep knowledge of Citrix SPA, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Gateway technologies.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles including ZTNA, IAM, and SASE frameworks.
• Experience implementing contextual access controls and adaptive authentication policies.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), DNS, and TLS/SSL protocols.
• Experience integrating identity platforms including Azure AD, Okta, Ping, and Active Directory.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows environments.
• Experience replacing traditional hardware VPN solutions such as Cisco or Pulse Secure.
• Citrix AppDNA experience is essential.
• Experience with Citrix Secure App Access implementations or migrations is highly regarded.
• Citrix Certified Secure Private Access (CC-SPA) certification is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience across Citrix Engineering, Enterprise Mobility, or Network Security environments.
• Experience managing ZTNA or SASE solutions is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
