Job summary

Aware Super in Sydney seeks an experienced securities finance specialist to grow capabilities and deliver exceptional execution within the Liquidity & Markets team. You will work across financing, derivatives and collateral management to drive investment outcomes for our members.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in financial markets or similar institutional setting.
Hands-on derivatives execution, implementation and portfolio management.
Strong understanding of collateral, financing, and lifecycle management.
Experience with physical or synthetic beta strategies.
Advanced Excel; exposure to Bloomberg and Aladdin; interest in AI/automation.

Responsibilities

Support securities finance strategies across asset classes using physical and synthetic instruments.
Execute and manage derivatives and physical transactions, including collateral and financing.
Conduct market, portfolio and relative-value analysis for opportunities and risks.
Build relationships with broker-dealers, banks, and service providers.
Drive AI, automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
