Pastore delivers an elevated dining experience at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, and we are seeking a passionate part-time Front of House Waiter to join our luxury team. You will own your section, deliver exceptional service, and help guests with menu suggestions in a prestigious setting.

Join a luxury hotel team in Melbourne’s south-east, with opportunities to grow within Accor’s global network and brand portfolio. Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Section Waiter or similar role within a quality restaurant or hotel environment.
• Genuine passion for hospitality, food, wine and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• Confidence in making menu recommendations and creating personalised experiences.
• Calm, professional and organised approach during busy service periods.

Job Description

Pastore delivers an elevated à la carte dining experience across lunch and dinner, with a focus on exceptional food, genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We are looking for a passionate part-time Front of House Waiters to join our team and help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

As a Front of House Waiter, you will take ownership of your section and play an important role in delivering the high level of service expected in a luxury dining environment.

• Deliver warm, attentive and personalised service throughout the guest experience
• Take ownership of your section, ensuring every detail is managed to a consistently high standard
• Build genuine connections with guests and anticipate their needs throughout their dining experience
• Develop a strong knowledge of Pastore’s menu, ingredients, Italian cuisine and beverage offering
• Confidently explain dishes, make recommendations and assist guests with menu selections
• Provide professional food and beverage service across lunch and dinner à la carte operations
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, timing and attention to detail throughout service
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service
• Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through thoughtful suggestions and genuine hospitality
• Respond to guest requests and feedback with confidence and a solutions-focused approach
• Maintain a clean, organised and polished section before, during and after service
• Contribute to a positive team culture where everyone works together to deliver exceptional experiences

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with an enthusiasm for learning more about Italian cuisine
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of service
• A calm, professional and organised approach during busy service periods
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
• A polished and professional presentation
• A current RSA Certificate
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential, including flexibility across dinner service and busy trading periods
