Job summary

Trinity Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Latin to join our Languages Faculty for a full-time temporary appointment during Term 4, 2026. You will teach Latin across Stages 4–6, including the NSW HSC and IB Diploma Latin courses.

Experience teaching Classical Greek is desirable but not essential; we value collaboration, professional growth and contributions to school life.

Qualifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Latin to join our Languages Faculty for a full-time temporary appointment during Term 4, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Stages 4–6, including both the HSC and IB Diploma Latin courses, within a School that values academic rigour, intellectual curiosity and the enduring relevance of classical studies.

Experience teaching Classical Greek is highly desirable but not essential.

Successful applicants will possess:

• Teaching qualifications in Languages, Classics, Ancient History or a related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to teach Latin
• Experience teaching Classical Greek (desirable)
• Current NESA accreditation/registration
• A current NSW Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)

Remuneration

Remuneration is paid in accordance with the relevant NESA Accreditation level under the Trinity Grammar School Enterprise Agreement 2025, with salaries currently ranging from $99,806 to $146,500 (pro rata for the period of appointment).
