Job summary

Applicants will have VIT registration and demonstrate experience with high‑quality instruction, data-informed planning and reflective practice within a supportive, well‑resourced school environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience planning for high‑impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact on growth.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring and assessing student learning with data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and alignment with Department values.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
• Undertake other classroom duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
