Job summary

St Teresa's Catholic College, part of Brisbane Catholic Education, is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to deliver Design Technologies and contribute to a faith-filled learning community at Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast.

The role requires a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to obtain one, plus a collaborative approach with staff, students and families. 30 hours per week, start January 2027, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to obtain.
• Experience delivering Design Technologies to Years 7-12.
• Ability to support Catholic values and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Create a learner-centred, structured learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Develop and implement quality Design Technologies programs and pedagogy; assess and report student progress.
• Collaborate with leadership, teachers and staff to foster positive school culture.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning to improve student outcomes.
• Build positive pastoral relationships and support students' spiritual development.
• Ensure teachings and values of the Catholic Church underpin learning.
