Job summary

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking a Second Class Welder for our precast client in Riverview, Queensland. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm with overtime available and immediate start. Pay rate is $35.00 per hour on a casual basis, with potential for permanent placement.

You will read drawings, measure accurately, and assist with fabricating reo for precast products. A White Card (Construction Induction) is mandatory and reliable transport to Riverview is required.

Qualifications

• Proven welding ability and experience.
• Able to read drawings and use a tape measure accurately.
• Hold White Card - Construction Induction (mandatory).
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Reliable transport to Riverview.

Responsibilities

• Complete the assembly of projects as per drawing specifications.
• Set up and assemble equipment for commencement of jobs.
• Clean up of work area at completion of jobs.
• Monitor raw steel materials and advise the production manager of shortages.
