Qantas Lounges by Accor at Sydney Airport is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Kitchen Hand to join our team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and service-ready, supporting dishwashing tasks and basic food prep to ensure smooth service.

The role requires flexibility for mornings, afternoons, and weekends, with a proactive team approach and a focus on food safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens clean, organised, and service-ready.
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans and equipment with industrial dishwashing machines.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and report issues.
• Keep prep, kitchen and scullery areas clean and hygienic.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Work across a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchens clean, organised, and service‑ready:
• Washing dishes, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines.
• Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing equipment and reporting any issues.
• Keeping kitchen, preparation and scullery areas clean and hygienic.
• Ensuring correct handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Working across a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons and weekend

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Preferred experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
• Understanding of food safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must have flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including mornings, afternoon and weekends
• Must have full working rights within Australia
