Job summary

Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital is seeking a Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative care in the operating theatre. You will work within a collaborative theatre team, performing scrub and scout roles while upholding infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Applicants should have current AHPRA registration and recent operating theatre experience as an anaesthetic nurse, with a focus on teamwork, professional development and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and recent operating theatre experience.
• Experience as anaesthetic nurse in perioperative settings.
• Knowledge of NSW Health Policy Directives and ACORN Standards in perioperative practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and scout nursing care in the perioperative theatre.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement and staff education.
