Job summary

Bundaberg Christian College invites applications for a Middle and Senior School Teacher (Science) to commence January 2027. The role reports to the Deputy Principal, Middle and Senior School, and focuses on delivering the Australian Curriculum within a Biblical worldview using innovative, research-based teaching methods.

The successful candidate will plan differentiating lessons, assess progress, use data to improve outcomes, and support wellbeing and spiritual development.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration, or eligibility for registration.
• Relevant tertiary teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum and the College’s Biblical worldview.
• Assess student learning, provide meaningful feedback and complete reporting requirements.
• Use student data to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes.
• Develop and maintain effective curriculum and teaching documentation.
• Use contemporary teaching strategies and ICT to enhance student learning.
• Support the safety, wellbeing and spiritual development of students.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Participate in College activities, professional learning, co-curricular programs and camps.
• Contribute actively to the Christian life, culture and broader community of the College.
