Job summary

St Columba's College Essendon in Essendon VIC is seeking a passionate Science Teacher for a fixed term full-time role for Terms 1 and 2, 2027. You will deliver engaging science learning experiences to inspire curiosity, inquiry and critical thinking.

The successful candidate will plan differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum, contribute to assessment and continuous improvement of science learning across the College.

Qualifications

• Appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration, with relevant Science teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Science and the ability to make complex concepts accessible, relevant and engaging for students.
• A passion for inquiry-based learning and creating opportunities for students to investigate, experiment and think critically.
• A collaborative and positive approach, with a commitment to Catholic education and the values of Compassion, Justice, Hope, Truth and Love.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our learning community. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Science and committed to inspiring students to question, investigate and understand the world around them.

This is fixed term full time position for Terms 1 and 2 2027.
