Chatham Public School in New South Wales is seeking a skilled school psychologist full-time to provide counselling and psychological assessment for students across K-12 settings. The role supports teachers, families and school communities to improve learning, wellbeing and mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• WWCC clearance (Working with Children Check) must be NSW.
• Current and valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsabilités

• Provides counselling and psychological services to students individually and in groups.
• Administers cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments and reports results.
• Collaborates with principal, staff and external agencies to support students.
• Contributes to student social, emotional and academic development.
• Responds as part of a team to assist schools during serious incidents.
• Refers students or families to other agencies for additional support.
