Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a part-time School Officer (Classroom Support) for St Peter Chanel Primary School, The Gap. The role focuses on supporting teachers to deliver effective learning, with 23 hours per week.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering teaching programs, monitoring student progress, and coordinating with specialists to support diverse learning needs. Eligibility requires work rights in Australia and a Blue Card.

About our school
St Peter Chanel School is situated in The Gap and draws on the traditions and ethos of the Marist fathers and the Sisters of Charity who founded our school. • Work hours:23 hours per week, Part-time

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use technology and learning support activities
• Monitoring the progress of students and identifing learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies
• Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
• Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.
