The NSW Department of Education is seeking a Maintenance Officer to support the upkeep of departmental schools. This role focuses on routine maintenance, planning, coordinating the setup and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities, and reporting safety or maintenance issues to the team.

You will receive, store and distribute supplies, monitor equipment and help ensure a safe, well‑run environment for students and staff.

• Good planning and prioritising skills.
• Good communication skills.

• Carry out routine maintenance and upkeep of Departmental School/grounds.
• Assist with setup and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities.
• Identify and report maintenance and safety issues.
• Receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment; report faults.
