Qualifications

• Minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Ability to apply health and safety procedures and knowledge of food allergens.
• Friendly manner and willingness to learn and work hard.
• Initiative to solve routine issues and adoption of safe working practices.
• Good grasp of English to understand and follow written instructions.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Take instruction from the Cook Supervisor & Assistant Cook.
• Support the preparation and service of hot and cold meals.
• Set out the dining area and clear away after meals.
• Handle food storage and preparation using commercial kitchen equipment.
• Maintain high food hygiene standards and avoid cross-contamination.
