Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education seeks a School Finance Coordinator for Good Samaritan Catholic College in Bli Bli, QLD. The role oversees financial operations, procurement, and system improvements to support school performance.

You will develop and interpret financial guidelines, manage budgets, and supervise staff. A Diploma in Finance or related field is required, and Catholic faith is not mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
• Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to the financial operations of the school.
• Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration, and activities.
• Reviewing, developing and implementing processes and systems that enable effective financial management consistent with the school’s strategic and operational objectives.
• Supervising and training support staff as required.
