Job summary

The Department for Education, Children and Young People is seeking an Education Facility Attendant for Team Port Sorell Primary School to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment. The role covers cleaning, grounds maintenance, kitchen support and minor facility maintenance to keep facilities in excellent condition.

Permanent full-time position commencing 18 January 2027, 80 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will work with staff, students and the community, ensuring WHS

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment across buildings and grounds.
• Assist with cleaning, grounds maintenance, kitchen activities, and minor facility maintenance.
• Manage supplies and equipment and support day-to-day operations ensuring WHS and security.
• Work with colleagues to support student wellbeing and a positive school culture.
