Job summary

Singleton Primary School in Western Australia is seeking a Cleaner in Charge for a 6-month fixed term, full-time role commencing Term 4, 2026. You will manage opening/closing, internal and external cleaning, and staff supervision to maintain a clean and safe school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to supervise staff in consultation with coordinators.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the school and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Carry out internal cleaning duties and maintain floors, furniture, windows and toilets.
• Undertake external cleaning tasks and vacation cleaning activities as required.
• Supervise staff performance in consultation with the Facilities Coordinator and Manager Corporate Services.
