Job summary

The NSW Department of Education is seeking cleaners to join our Central Coast regional teams. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks across schools and government sites, maintaining high hygiene standards to ensure safe environments for students and staff.

Roles include ongoing full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities with shift patterns that may start early mornings or late afternoons. Competitive pay, 12% superannuation, and full training are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and WHS requirements.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

• Ability to follow schedules and meet service standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning duties.
• Sanitising restrooms, classrooms, offices, and shared spaces.
• Following cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and supply needs.
• Assisting with deep cleans, programmed works, and special tasks.
