Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, café, canteen or food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food handling, hygiene practices and safety compliance.
• Ability to supervise and guide staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking, packaging and presentation of menu items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, recipes and quality standards.
• Serve students, staff and visitors in a friendly, efficient manner during ordering times.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the canteen with the Canteen Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, rotation and inventory control.
• Process cash, EFTPOS and online transactions accurately.
• Maintain hygiene and storage standards in line with regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to canteen staff and volunteers.
