Job summary

Wauchope Public School Canteen in Wauchope, NSW is seeking a Canteen Assistant for a casual role. Approximately 1 day per week, about 6 hours, with responsibilities including operating canteen equipment, serving customers, taking orders, and maintaining hygiene.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating canteen equipment safely and maintaining proper food handling practices at all times.
• Serving customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner during service periods.
• Taking orders and processing payments.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment, including washing dishes, utensils, and surfaces.
• Restocking ingredients, supplies, and serving materials as needed.
• Following all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage and temperature control.
• Daily, weekly and end term cleaning.
