Reece is offering a school-based traineeship at Irrigation Pakenham for Year 10–11 students to work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. You will split time between a Reece branch and completing workbook requirements with on-the-job training.

Based at Irrigation Pakenham, you will gain hands-on experience in customer service, stock management and sales processing while building product knowledge and supporting branch operations.

The Reece Group is a leading international company with exceptional values and customer focus. Across all levels of the Reece Group network, our staff continuously aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure that they are the best in the business.

The Role

Partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd, we are looking for students to undertake School‒based Traineeships where you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. The traineeship will involve working in a Reece branch as well as completing certificate requirements e.g. workbooks and on the job training and assessments. Year 10 students can apply all year round and Year 11 students can apply from January until the end of term 2. This position is based at Irrigation Pakenham.

• Answering the phone to take messages and orders
• Communicating with customers and staff
• Building product knowledge
• Providing follow up to customers
• Contributing to maintaining the branch at a high standard.

Students will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week. Must have Saturday Availability. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
