Reece Ltd. is offering a school-based traineeship for Year 10 and 11 students at Fire Townsville. You will work toward a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations while gaining hands-on experience in a Reece branch.

Participants will complete workbook and on‑the‑job training, with 1.5 days per week and Saturday availability. Additional hours during school holidays are available to support progression.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Year 10 or 11 and eligible for a school-based traineeship.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
• Enthusiasm, a great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented with reliable, neat work habits.
• Prepared to maintain a neat and tidy workplace.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Reece values, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver customer service within the branch.
• Complete all requirements of the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.
• Process sales transactions accurately.
• Support stock management and shelf replenishment.
• Answer phones, take messages and orders.
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Build product knowledge to assist customers.
• Provide follow up to customers.
• Contribute to maintaining a high standard in the branch.
