Job summary

Australian Capital Territory Education invites applications for a Social Worker (Health Professional Level 3) in the Wellbeing in Schools (WINS) program. The role offers both full‑time and part‑time permanent appointments, with salary range $111,639 to $120,057 plus superannuation.

The successful applicant will work with children and families, deliver psychosocial interventions, and collaborate with school staff and intraprofessional teams to improve student attendance, engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
• A minimum of three-year post-qualifying experience.
• Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers or eligibility for membership.
• Current driver’s licence essential, including access to a private vehicle for work purposes.
• WWVP registration required prior to commencing.

Responsibilities

• Undertake direct social work roles across the Allied Health Service and Wellbeing in Schools teams.
• Deliver psychosocial interventions in collaboration with students, families and the interprofessional team.
• Work with school staff to identify needs and improve attendance, engagement and wellbeing.
