Job summary

The Victorian Government seeks an Occupational Therapist to join Red Cliffs Primary School and support students through evidence-based OT assessment and intervention. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to address sensory, motor and participation needs, while aligning with school policies and timetables.

You will collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies, deliver staff development, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing evidence-based OT assessment and intervention for children in educational/paediatric settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, teachers and external agencies.
• Ability to develop and deliver staff training and whole-school OT programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments to identify sensory, motor, self-regulation and participation needs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individual and small-group intervention programs using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement inclusive strategies and supports.
