Job summary

Buildsafe Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced scaffolder to join our site teams. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, ensuring loads match gear lists, and securing loads on arrival and departure.

You will interpret building plans and install/dismantle site safety products including temporary stairs, rail, and void protection. The role offers a steady pipeline of work, weekly pay with a bonus scheme for leading hands, and opportunities to progress to leading hand

Qualifications

• Must have permanent work rights.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence (essential).
• Basic Scaffold Licence (highly advantageous).
• Truck Licence (highly advantageous).
• Experience in residential construction.
• Ability to work Mon - Fri up to 50 hours per week.
• Experience in leading a crew (highly advantageous).
• You are committed to your role and are a reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading trucks, ensure all required equipment is loaded and components match the picking/gear list, ensure loads are secured.
• Transporting, interpretation of building plans, installation, and dismantling of site safety products - temporary stairs, rail and voids.
• Submission of reports, truck maintenance records, work method statements and other documents as required.
