Job summary

Fortescue Metals Group in Perth, Western Australia, seeks an experienced SAP FICO consultant to join the finance systems team. The role covers month-end processes, master data governance, and testing, with exposure to group reporting and capital accounting across global operations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years consulting experience in SAP process design and configuration, testing and documentation in the FICO area with a good understanding of the integration to other SAP modules.
Experience across SAP S/4 Cloud, country localisation and tax jurisdictions.
Proven ability to gather requirements, document specifications and support testing and training.

Responsibilities

Provide SAP systems support during month-end closing with a focus on capital, reporting and consolidation.
Support SAP S/4 HANA finance systems projects in areas such as group reporting, capital accounting and leases, currency valuation, procurement and reporting.
Maintain master data governance and ensure internal controls.
Support finance integrations of SAP with external systems.
