Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is seeking a full-time laboratory support role based in Girraween, NSW. The position involves receiving and logging samples, storage on arrival, and registration in LIMS, with responsibilities extending to sample management and container preparation for testing.

Shift times are Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with an extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of the national standard rate. Local holidays apply; eligibility to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory information management systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling samples.
• Willingness to work in a technical environment and learn procedures.
• Demonstrated teamwork and reliability in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive and login samples, register in LIMS, and store samples on arrival.
• Maintain good housekeeping and sample management practices.
• Check registration against CO COC, lay out samples for testing.
• Send split samples to overseas locations as required.
• Maintain temperature charts according to Eurofins protocols.
• Perform biosecurity sample handling per protocols.
• Liaise with clients to confirm contract requirements and expectations.
• Assist with contract review and other duties as directed.

Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. Job Description

• Full time position based in Girraween NSW

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES:

• Sample Receipt & login– including storage of samples on arrival, and registration in LIMS.
• Sample Management – good housekeeping practices.
• Checking registration against the COC Laying out samples.
• Send Split samples/overseas.
• Temperature charts (according to Eurofins protocols).
• Biosecurity samples (according to Eurofins protocols).
• Liaising with clients to ensure correct contract requirements.
• Other duties as directed.
• Contract Review.
