Job summary

ALS is seeking multiple Sample Preparers to join our Geochemistry site in Canning Vale, WA. This casual role requires full-time hours on a rotating shift, from day to night over fortnightly blocks, in a dusty lab environment.

You will operate crushers, pulverizers, splitters and weigh scales, perform manual tasks, and wear PPE including a respirator. Training is provided and team work and safety matter.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience is advantageous.
• Willing to work full-time hours from Monday to Friday and be on rotating shift.
• Able to work in a dusty environment and wear PPE including respirator.

Responsibilities

• Handle rock, core and drill chips.
• Operate sample preparation equipment – crushers, pulverizers, splitters, and weigh scales.
• Perform routine manual tasks, including lifting and standing all day.

As a Sample Preparer, **you will be working in a warehouse** operating machinery to crush, split, and pulverize mineral samples for laboratory analysis.
