Harvey Norman in Hervey Bay is seeking a motivated Salesperson to join our Technology & Entertainment team. You’ll help customers find the right tech for home, work and lifestyle, from laptops and mobiles to cameras and smart home devices.

This 4-day-per-week role offers base pay plus uncapped commission, with a clear pathway to full-time and opportunities forcareer progression into department management and our Proprietor Development Program. Weekend availability is expected.

• No tech or sales experience needed; we'll train you

Our Hervey Bay Technology & Entertainment team sells laptops, mobile phones, cameras, printers, smart home and more. We're looking for a motivated salesperson who wants to learn, work hard and build a real income and career.

What you'll earn

• Base pay from $27.81/hour for adult employees (around $834/week for approx. 30 hours), plus the opportunity to earn commission in line with the applicable commission structure
• Junior rates apply for employees under 21, in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award and applicable minimum entitlements
• Commission is uncapped and provides the opportunity to increase your earnings – based on eligible sales, your individual sales performance and store trade.
• Our salespeople earn an extra $200–$1,100 per week in commission, which can bring total weekly earnings to roughly $1,000–$1,900 +

This is a 4-day-per-week role with genuine potential to move to full time employment. Beyond that, Harvey Norman offers clear pathways into department management and our internal Proprietor Development Program, which trains high performers to run their own Harvey Norman franchise business. Many of our managers and franchisees started on the sales floor.
