Job summary

Employment Hero seeks a Salesforce Platform Manager to own the global Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring scalability, AI readiness, and alignment with business priorities. The role directly supports GTM, CX, and Finance with measurable commercial value.

You will lead Admins, Developers, and Tech Leads, drive a multi-year roadmap, manage two-week sprints, and govern backlog while collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership, architecture, and strategic health of the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Salesforce team and transition to a product delivery model.
• Define and execute a multi-year Salesforce roadmap aligned with GTM, CX, Product, and Finance OKRs.
• Manage workloads, sprint planning, and balance strategic initiatives with BAU work.
• Improve intake, prioritization, and backlog governance for user experience and capacity health.
• Gatekeep with sales and cross-functional stakeholders; manage expectations and scope.
• Drive 360° customer view by making Salesforce the central source of truth for data.
• Ensure AI-readiness by integrating native or external AI workflows and automation.
• Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, and optimization.

This role

The Salesforce Platform Manager shapes Employment Hero’s global Salesforce ecosystem by ensuring the platform is scalable, AI-ready, and strategically aligned with business priorities. The role is instrumental in delivering measurable commercial value across GTM, CX, and Finance teams, directly supporting the company's mission to make employment easier and more valuable for everyone.

Your key focus areas will be:

• Maintain complete ownership, accountability, architecture, and overall strategic health and growth of the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Technical Leads while transitioning the team into a product development delivery model.
• Define, evolve, and execute a strategic multi-year roadmap for Salesforce aligned with GTM, CX, Product, and Finance business OKRs.
• Manage execution workloads and two-week sprint planning, balancing planned strategic initiatives against unplanned BAU reactive work.
• Optimize work intake, prioritization, and backlog governance processes to champion user experience and capacity health.
• Act as a key gatekeeper with sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, confidently managing expectation boundaries and scoping requests.
• Drive Salesforce as the central single source of truth for customer data to deliver a 360° customer view.
• Ensure the platform is AI-ready by integrating native or external AI workflows and automated solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, renewals, and licensing optimization.
• Oversee platform governance, security standards, multi-region deployments, SLA compliance, and incident response management.

• Deep experience in platform governance, licensing optimization, vendor management, and multi-region SaaS deployments.
• Technical proficiency across core Salesforce products (Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud) and complementary ecosystems (CPQ, Zuora, LeanData, Marketing Cloud).
• Exposure to Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, CI/CD pipelines, API integrations, and AI enablement (Einstein, GPT, Data Cloud).
• Articulate and transparent communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
