Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Canberra is seeking a flexible Sales Support Operator to join our ACT team on a casual basis. The role centers on merchandising, stock availability, and promotions, with a Wednesday–Friday schedule and local area focus.

You will present products, set up displays, rotate stock, and provide feedback to Head Office. Mobility, a valid Australian driver’s license, and reliable car are essential; strong communication and organization are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have mobility and a valid Australian driver’s license.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move stock.
• Strong communication skills for in-store contacts.
• Organised and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products and ensure shelves are stocked, rotated and visible.
• Activate and assemble promotional displays (POS) per national guidelines.
• Maintain compliant planograms and optimal store layouts.
• Provide timely feedback to Head Office on territory activity and opportunities.

• Display & Promotions:Activating and assembling promotional displays (Point of Sale), ensuring they are compliant with national agreements and ticketing.


• Shelf Management:Ensuring displays and product layouts are compliant with agreed planograms.


• Feedback:Providing accurate and prompt feedback to the Head Office regarding activity and opportunities in your territory.

Key Requirements & What You'll Need:

• Mobility:A valid Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle.


• Physical Capability:The role requires you to be physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks. You will have the ability to lift and move stock in accordance with the job requirements.


• Communication:Effective communication skills for building rapport with in-store contacts.
